Have you ever noticed that when presented with too many choices your decision making ability is significantly damaged?
It was brought to my attention that i may be the cause of the tantrums thrown by my son; such as the one portraid in my last post. Perhaps I should be presenting fewer choices and narrowing down the chances of confusion or manipulation. This makes sense.
Allowing our little intruder (LI) to make his own decision is one thing. opening up the door for a total decision making crisis is another. There is something to be said about having other’s deciding for you. I don’t mean a total abnigation of responsibility. However, at such a young age the chances of knowing exactly what you want or distinguishing the good from the bad is quite hard.
There is no arguing that it’s easier to pick between two colors as opposed to ten. Thoughts?
